Recap: Cultural Discovery Camp 2024
This past December, 50 kids, aged 7-11, applied to the our virtual Cultural Discovery Camp (CDC) and learned about cultures worldwide!
In this program, which consisted of educational lessons and fun activities to complete, kids learned about Brazil, Bangladesh, China, India, Italy and Nigeria! During each session led by one of our amazing team members, kids got the chance to learn about a different language, geography, food and more from different places every day and complete an activity from that culture. Some of the activities included creating Chinese paper lanterns and colorful Indian elephant masks, as well as drawing Brazilian xilogravura, Italian gondolas, Nigerian danfo bus and Bangladeshi nokhshi katha art

The Cultural Discovery Camp 2025 was successful and not to mention, very fun for everyone! We look forward to having our CDC program in the future!
