The Evolution of Cultural Norms in the Digital Age: Discuss how technology and social media are reshaping cultural interactions and perceptions among youth.

The digital age has redefined how we interact, share and perceive the world around us. Technology and social media have become powerful tools for not only sharing our cultural identities but constructing them as well. No longer is culture passed down by generations within tight-knit communities. Instead it is constructed through a global village, one where no cultural norm reigns supreme.

This reality begs the question: is culture still rooted in the customs of a specific place or has it become a global tapestry no longer confined to geographic boundaries? For youth especially, platforms like Instagram or TikTok are no longer spaces for just entertainment; they are areas for activism, self expression and identity. These platforms have redefined what it means to belong, interact and influence.

But with its transformation comes complex questions. How do these shifts impact traditional values and heritage? Are online connections replacing real-world bonds or are they creating a new global cultural community?

By participating in this competition, you have the chance to explore these intricacies and share your own perspective on how the digital world has seeped into cultural interactions and redefined the very meaning of having a distinct cultural identity. Dive in, reflect and let your voice be heard in this evolving conversation!
